Structure, thermal stability and transport properties of heat-resistant high-entropy ZrTiHfNb alloy

The problem of phase stability is one the key problems in study high-entropy alloys. Here we address this issue for a heat-resistant TiZrHfNb alloy with bcc structure. evolution structure studied during isothermal annealing at T=400 o C. It was found that as-cast consists two coexisting phases similar unit cell parameters. This state homogenized annealing. Still, highly stressed nanostructured retained and texture enhanced. thermal conductivity temperature range 20-400 C changes 8-16 W/m·K, which comparable order magnitude steels.
